Safety

Safety is our highest priority! Please send an email to solanoheartsunited@yahoo.com for any issues you would like to be addressed.

The course will be clearly marked for the 5K Walk, the 5K Run and the 10K Run. The course will be monitored by both volunteers and staff, and water stations will be available along the route.

Strollers, walkers and wheelchairs are welcome!

For your safety and the safety of others, all walkers and runners must be registered for the event. Bibs and a disposable timing chip will be provided to both walkers and runners participating in the 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run and are mandatory for capturing each participant's times when passing over the finish line. If you are not wearing a bib, or did not receive a disposable timing chip, your times will not be documented.

This year's race is a mass start and starts promptly at 8:00 a.m.

The 5K Walk, 5K Run and the 10K Run share the same course. There will be cones dividing the road to assure runners can run without interference. The finish line is well-marked and volunteers are available to guide you to the finish line.
